Freelancer vs. Web Design Company

Choosing between a freelance web design and a web design company is one of the matters that get you thinking when you first decide to have an online presence for your company and your business on the web.<br><br>
Freelance Web Designers are independent so they are charging very cheap rates for web designing; this brings down the market rates of the same work. Web application development companies cannot beat the rates offered by freelancers. An individual web developer works for money and not for reputation, so if the web application project of client fails, they are not responsible but the receiving client gets the bad impression of web development industry. Behind the web company is management and financing. Behind the freelancer is only the air. If something goes wrong, the company takes the liability, a freelancer just goes.<br><br>
A lot of freelance web developers are not even experienced when they start offering their service to the clients. The client believes that the offer is very cheap so project is assigned to inexperienced freelancers. Finally a web application developed by freelance web developer is either a crap or unstable, on the other hand a web development company is responsible for their work and the reputation of the client.<br><br>
Freelancers work from home, they don’t need to pay any business expenses, and the cost of doing business is almost zero. Web companies need permanently invest funds in training, study and new business tools, like computers and software.<br><br>
Freelancers work mostly with free (or not free) templates from web, they don’t intend to care about inventions or copyrights.

Freelancer may change his mind and move to another job, position, market or country. Web design company established business in the territory and is interested in growth and adding values to customer’s business. At the end customer can get always more support from the stable company as from unstable freelancer.

The Disadvantages of Content Management Systems

The disadvantage of content management systems are that they are resource hungry. The servers they run on need to be maintained by technicians, and content management requires more memory, CPU power and software maintenance. Small setting changes in the server can cause the entire content management system to fail and as a consequence the website will not be viewable or return errors....

Many people who use the internet daily run into the term web 2.0 and many of those people don't know what it means. This is actually very understandable considering that for most people the internet does not seem any different than when they were first exposed to it. In order to truly understand web 2.0, it is necessary to understand the difference between the internet as it is today, and as it was back during the first internet boom of the late 90's...

Believe it or Not, Self-Promotion Can Hurt You

The interesting thing about online self-promotion is that it can be vital to your success, but can also make you look horrible, tarnish your reputation, and alienate people. There are good ways to promote yourself, and there are bad ways. Some of the bad ways are often looked upon as spam - things like blog comment spam, forum spam, or of course Twitter/Facebook spam come to mind...

A recent improvement for Arabic searches

We've learned that when performing a search on Google, people sometimes forget to separate words with spaces. Moreover, people often mistakenly repeat a letter within a single word. For instance, when writing the query [amazingly beautiful poem], you might write it as [amazingly beautiifullpoem]. These types of errors are much more common in languages like Arabic, where most of the letters are cursive...

I've tried it all Dan. But after sending traffic to it (his sales copy), my response rates are still poor! - one of my mentoring clients told me on the phone.<br><br>I know when someone is trying to sell me something and I often ignore them. When I listen to someone that sounds knowledgeable and credible, I want to hear what they have to say. And if they write about the best deals from my perspective, I want to buy it.

More Search Options and other updates from Google's Searchology event

Today we are hosting our second Searchology event, to update our users, partners, and customers on the progress we have made in search and tell them about new features. Our first Searchology was two years ago, when we were excited to launch Universal Search, a feature that blended results of different types (web pages, images, videos, books, etc.) on the results page. Since then Universal Search has grown quite a bit, adding new types of results, expanding to new countries, and triggering on ten times as many queries as it did when we launched it.

Not only does it mean that users will always have all the cool new features that we work so hard to develop; it also means that any bugs or security vulnerabilities can get fixed very quickly, everywhere that the software is installed.

Improve Your conversion Rate With An Online Sales Silo

You're probably wondering what an online sales silo is and why you need to create one. In the past, sales and marketing experts told us to create a sales or marketing funnel. You dump all of your prospects into a wide funnel and a few would drop out of the bottom of the funnel that may turn into customers. Using the power of the search engines, you drop highly targeted prospects into a silo instead of a funnel. Once they are in the silo, you lead them directly to the product or service they were searching for and sell it to them.

As a Web Developer and SEO consultant I deal with many existing website owners who are looking to modify or improve their website. I also deal with many people who are looking to start their web presence with a new website. Through both of these interactions there is often a common theme; a misunderstanding or an attitude. I call this a misconception of reality, as often the reality of what the Internet can actually do for the persons business and what they think it can do differ massively.

Important details that you should consider when writing for the Web

When you're browsing the Web for information, you're coming across variously structured pages. Some contain the exact information that you need, while others are full of details that prove to be inconclusive. The rule of thumb when writing for the Web is to keep the information well structured, and to respect some basic, very simple directions. Failure to do so will result in web users never attempting to access your web page again.

How to Improve Website Credibility

Web credibility has become a very important topic today. The fact that you have a site should not make you rest on your laurels. In these times, where facts are certainly more important than promises; if you have an online business, one of the most important matters that you should give due consideration is online credibility: you have to persuade web visitors that there is truly something worth wild behind a good-looking, usable website: you have to convince the visitors that the image you try to promote is trustful and that you intend to keep your promises advertised on the internet.

When your prospects see your marketing materials, your brochure, your web site or your ads you want them to read them.<br><br>
You want prospects to read not just the first sentence but the majority of your copy. Once they've read it, you want them to decide that they need your product or service and either make a purchase or contact you for more information.<br><br>
When prospective clients and customers see your web site, ads or brochures, you want them to be captivated and impressed. You hope they'll read not just the headlines, but all the way through the copy. And you want this scintillating copy to motivate them to take the next step, and make a purchase or contact you for more information.

Softmedia Dubai web design is the designing and graphical presentation of content shown on the Internet in the form of Web sites and other Web applications using many different forms of media. We use HTML, CSS, and the newest form of language, XHTML, integrating various forms of dynamic, interactive content using server-side languages such as PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor).<br><br>
A Web site is a collection of information about a particular topic or subject. Designing a website is defined as the arrangement and creation of Web pages that in turn make up a website. A Web page consists of information for which the Web site is developed. A website might be compared to a book, where each page of the book is a web page.
